Coordinates data input for remuneration surveys and produces market benchmark reports. Provides support for HR policy development and implementation. Administers income tax data for overseas (QG) assignees and rates review for JV Partner Secondees and CWO contractors.
· Administer international assignments specific to coordination of income tax returns and alignment to host country tax laws, in association with an international accounting firm.
· Administer JV Partner Secondee rates in accordance with PSA and CWO contractor rates, as per Company policy. Includes maintaining rates in the C & P database.
· Reviews HR policies and assists with the implementation and presentation, as part of Company wide education campaigns.
· Researches international policies, conventions and remuneration practices to recommend adoption of best practice across HR functions within Qatargas. Also liaises with Qatar Petroleum and Ras Gas to ensure alignment.
· Coordinates market research of remuneration packages, both local and international, including assessing trends in reward methodologies.
· Analyse remuneration survey data and prepare market benchmark reports for Qatargas management.
· Maintains a reference library of remuneration surveys and benchmark reports. Benchmarks Qatargas positions against salary market data when conducting employee salary reviews.
· Reports to the C & P Agreements and Market Survey Lead
· Has no supervisory responsibility
· Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Commerce, Economics or Mathematics.
· 7+ years HR experience
· 3 to 4 years experience in policy development and remuneration market analysis, including exposure to international tax administration and contractual agreements. Para legal experience an advantage.
· An extremely high standard of written and spoken English, with an ability to write clear and precise analysis reports and policies.
· Excellent computer literacy using MS Office – Word, PowerPoint and Excel.A team orientated person, with very good inter-personal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels, including a high standard of presentation skills.
