1. Basic Function and Scope:
To coordinate the training and development of all Qatari Nationals (in technical disciplines) within Qatargas, monitoring their progress through to attaining their target positions. Counsel them on their development needs and guide them to ensure that their development is in line with company business requirements. Ensure that all technical competencies for each discipline are in line with Company job families and the required competency framework is in place for each technical development program.
2. Tasks and Duties:
a. Identify high performers for opportunities within the company scholarship schemes.
b. Monitor the progress of undergraduates (technical students) at colleges and universities, support them during their studies and liaise with college and university faculties with regards to studentsí progress.
c. Liaise with Shareholders for placement opportunities for Qatargas Graduates with shareholder companies and projects.
d. Review, monitor and advice on technical IDPís for Technical staff, Graduates and Technicians.
e. Monitor the progress of all company Graduates and have frequent meetings with the graduates and their coaches/mentors/managers.
f. Develop competency programs for technical Graduates and Technicians, ensuring that they cover all the required competencies for the target position.
g. Ensure that all graduates have target position relevant to there qualifications, development progression and business requirements.
h. Develop a course matrix for all Technical Graduates and Technicians, ensuring all courses are relevant to business needs and performance enhancement.
i. Counsel Technical Graduates and Technicians on career development and opportunities within the Company.
j. Develop and maintain a Graduate Development Manual to be issued to all graduates outlining their career path, opportunities, competency requirements for the target position and their IDP.
k. Maintain succession plans for all the Graduates and Technicians during their career development.
l. Conduct regular audits to ensure that all Graduates and Technicians are following their IDPís.
m. Analyse all Graduate/Technician Development Plans form other department to ensure consistence through out the Company
3. Work Contacts:
Internal, frequent contacts within department other departments in QG and at deferent levels. Frequent contact with QP and sister companies, employees and Developees / trainees to monitor progress
4. Independence of Operation:
Carry out work assignments in accordance with established company policies and program. Maintenance Manager kept advised of work progress with completed work being subject to review.

30% - Exposed to prevailing weather conditions, heat humidity, noise and fumes when visiting operation location.
70% - Air condition office

8. Minimum Requirements:
a. B.A. Degree in Business Administration or equivalent and solid background on training, development, counseling
b. 8 years experience of relevant.
c. Very good written and spoken English.
d. Computer literacy including use of spread sheets, database systems
