Purpose of the Job
out all reservoir engineering and production planning of all QPI's producing
and developed reservoirs in terms of proper monitoring of reservoir
performance. Plans and recommends production off take points and infill wells.
Monitors reservoir health and recommends necessary actions for reservoir
maintenance including injection, fracturing, stimulation. Monitors and
evaluates all QPI's developed reserves and keeps an updated reserves portfolio.
Duties and Responsibilities
Monitors reservoir behaviour for all reservoirs
in all producing fields and recommends and implements necessary technical and
operational actions with respect to; infill drilling, well work over programs,
Recommends, implements, and monitors production
tests and related interpretation and analysis.
Plays an important overall role over reservoir
engineering studies in assigned fields aimed at achieving optimal recovery of
oil and gas reserves consistent with company development strategies. Encourages exchange of know-how between
subordinates across the professional team boundaries.
Coordinates, recommends and implements
activities aimed at developing long term production/injection forecasts.
Coordinates establishment of medium and long term production and injection
rates' scenarios and initiates and implements the preparation of related field
Recommends allocation assignments in various
fields, ensures integration of schedules with rig availability and assigns
approved work plan segments, for the preparation of detailed proposals.
Carries out regular updating of Company's
reserve estimates for all fields, based on data acquisition and understanding
of the fields' properties, reservoir characteristics and behaviours, and the
introduction of new technologies.
Actively and effectively participates in
technical meetings of joint venture companies and presents company's views on

resources and accurate input data to produce accurate high quality reservoir
description for overall development and sustainability of a healthy reservoir.
Carries out and contributes to Field Development
Plans for green fields with direct control on reservoir engineering, simulation
and dynamic model
Works independently guided by functional

and controlling specialized professional standards.
Supervises and oversees all reservoir
engineering activities in all fields.
Budget, Plans, and
Provides input to the Team's work program and
budget and the Section and Department's Business and Operating Plans.
Recommends expenditure within a pre-approved
work program and budget and presents necessary diversions from planned work and
Prepares annual reserve report, identifying
hydrocarbon in place, estimating recoveries and outlining possibilities of
Prepares reports and papers on developments and
industry trends, distributing to colleagues in the Division.
Consults Reservoir Team Leader Reservoir
Engineering and Production Planning in Technical and Administrative issues of

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:
B.Sc. in Petroleum Engineering, Geosciences or
+10 years' varied experience in the oil
industry, including technical hands on experience in reservoir characterization
and/or reservoir management. Works well and leads multi-disciplined team of
professional engineers and Geoscientists within the petroleum development

Carries out, oversees and influences quality and
integrity of Field Development Plans and recommends its final approval.
Oversees and monitors all reservoir performance
and recommends proper actions for optimum recovery.
Uses objective judgment and discretion for
urgent matters that require immediate actions.
Responsible for all outcomes and results of
field development and reservoir engineering activities.
