Purpose of the Job
·
To provide commercial and marketing support,
contribute to the development of client's Downstream Marketing strategy.
·
Conducting market search and market
segmentation.
·
Provide necessary support for the strategic
scheduling for the enhancement of different applications of products.
·
Develop programs with quantifiable objectives to
measure results.
Key Accountabilities
·
Contribute and provide inputs to the development
of the Commercial & Marketing strategy in line with the overall business
objectives of the downstream function.
·
Establishes and maintains contacts with existing
and potential joint ventures and to identify and promote investment
opportunities
·
Recommends to management appropriate sales
promotions strategy and action based on this profile.
·
Proposes and assists in Planning of long, medium
& short term marketing strategies includes studying the assigned
region/country and formulating policy proposes on available products and market
requirements.
·
Review and endorse strategy and governance
framework with Commercial Department.
·
Participate in the team set up to undertake
initial screening of potential downstream investment opportunities
·
Contribute to the finalization of product
marketing agreements related to JV partners
·
Conduct market, competitor and customer analysis
as input to strategy development and evaluation of potential downstream
projects and partners
·
Development and maintenance of product demand
database, traders, buyers, quality specifications and volumes.
·
Prepare and recommend the budget and monitor
financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of
anticipated costs/revenues, and areas of unsatisfactory performance are
identified, rectified promptly and potential performance improvement
opportunities are capitalised upon.
Qualifications &
Experience
Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:

Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Economics or
Business.
Experience:
·
5-7 years of experience with major energy
company in commercial, marketing and sales roles.
